i had this problem, it is k3b not releasing the drive or the disc
in k3b, after you finish the process select unmount or eject the disc, system should see the disc now
Thanks for the information. I don't think that is the full issue though. Because, if K3B locked the drive then I should not be able to mount it manually. But to test it, I turned off the computer and then started it back up. The CD still will not automount.
One thing I did notice while manually mounting, if I did not enter -t iso9660 (in other words left it out), the hard drive would spin and the CD would not mount. I had to enter the -t option. So I'm wondering if the settings being used to burn are affecting the automount.
BTW, manual mounting worked on the CD and the CD also worked in Windows.
