Step by step set-up of two monitors (Nvidia Twinview)

I'm a relative newcomer to linux and it took awhile for me to figure out how to get nvidia twinview working.

I wrote up what I did, in case anyone else can benefit. It's at:

I realize that the pros here would probably have a good chuckle if they read this, but I did want it to be written at a level for someone (like me) who needs to be hand-held through the whole process. If anyone can point out errors or has suggestions on how to tighten the process up (I'm sure some of it is redundant), I'd love to hear from them.
