..or maybe not so simple -
Is it possible to set up the daemon in drakbackup to check that the directory the backup is to be sent to exists before continuing?
I ask this because I have set up drakbackup to do regular differential backups to a usb hard drive. I am mounting the drive at boot with an fstab entry. This works fine except if the drive has been unplugged for any reason drakbackup creates a directory on my system partition and starts a full backup until the partition is full and everything grinds to a halt. I have done a temporary fix by mounting the usb drive under /home but am looking for a cleaner solution.
Any ideas or do I have to abandon drakbackup and start scripting?
