I've been using Thunderbird for quite some time without any issues.  However just lately I'm unable to drag and drop addresses from the main address book into a group or list, as I could previously.

Also I'm unable to add manually to the group/list even if the address exists in the main address book.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Okay after extensive googling I wondered if Tbird somehow limits the number of email addresses in a group/list to prevent/limit spam.  I created a second group of same name simply calling it "samename2" and can drag and drop addresses into it.  HTH anyone who may have been having similar issues.
