How can I play instant movies using netfix?
« on: February 14, 2010, 03:17:09 PM »
I am just wondering if there is a way to watch instant movies from netfix in linux?

I see there is a netfix plugin for mythtv, but I have no idea how to get that to work.  I installed it for fun, but couldn't get a connection working.

I also hear something about silverlight, but don't see it in the repositories.

Thanks
David

as far as i know, it cant currently be done in linux. netflix uses silverlight and linux implementation of silverlight is moonlight and it currently cant do that because they are yet to implement proprietary technologies netflix uses in streaming its contents.
