KMail showing crazy dates - RESOLVED
« on: February 11, 2010, 05:48:07 AM »
Just noticed:

Running KDE 4.3.4, KMail 1.12.4, as fully updated as currently can be.
Date format used: YYYY. MM . DD.

eager2no,

the custom format is case sensitive. I just tried it with yyyy.MM.dd and I get 2010.02.11, which correctly represents today's date.

YYYY.MM.DD gave me nothing legible, and yyyy.mm.dd gave me what you get (the month part actually being the minutes of the current time).

tschommer,
I mistyped the format: it is yyyy. mm. dd.

Thank you, I'd never have thought that (although the Custom Format Information clearly states this, as I now see).
