Fast, faster if you install it using the PCLinuxOS LXDE remaster.  Just remember that you will be learning a new way to interact with your computer.

I have it installed both over PCLinuxOS LXDE remaster (in my home desktop) and over a regular PCLOS install updated to KDE4 (in my work laptop), the former is faster, but in the later I can use many KDE4 things like Dolphin or Korganizer.

ok, so to get the e17 I would install the PCLinuxOS LXDE, then install task-enlightenment?

I see there is a e-17 on the home page of pclinuxos, but it says coming soon.

Anyway, It sounds interesting.

Thanks for the comments.

i'm running kde version of pclinux so can't be 100% sure but yes, it should be as easy as that, select task-enlightment and that's it

the same way i installed it here, also other 4 desktops

i don't know how you login on that version but if you can select session it can be done

First option  ;)

And you can use it in a regular PCLOS install too.
