Hello,

I have a few problems with PCLOS Phoenix Edition. After I installed PCLOS successfully I installed the video card driver with the integrated tool. I have an Ati Radeon 9500 Pro so installed fglrx. After it was finished i typed "fglrxinfo" into the console. The console said that the OS is using the Mesa driver. To fix this problem I tried to execute the driver tool to uninstall the driver but it didn't start. I just saw a little task in the taskbar but it disappeared very quickly. Then I had the great idea to change the xorg.conf. I changed the word vesa into fglrx. After the reboot an error message popped up which said my Xserver is wrong configured. I edited it and now the Xserver is working again but the driver isn't installed.

Can someone help me?

Sorry for my bad English, it's not my native language. Feel free to correct me.

Edit: I will post a screenshot with the truncated menu icon later.  ;)
