dual boot 2009/2010+KDE3.5 and 2010+KDE4

If I create free space or install a second hard drive can I install 2010+KDE4 from iso onto unit already with 2009/2010 using KDE3.5 so that I still have original intact and can choose from grub whether to use old or new?
Or will the the iso install insist on overwriting existing ?

It won't insist on overwriting your current installation - you will have the freedom to install to a separate partition on your existing hard drive or install to your newly fitted hard drive, and yes, you will then have the choice via your Grub menu.

Thats just "one" of the beauties of PCLinuxos (and linux in general) that you get to choose your options
