[SOLVED] Cannot install VLC player - unresolved dependencies.
« on: February 04, 2010, 08:05:10 AM »
Attempting to install vlc player gives an error on missing dependencies in the repo.
I am not savvy enough to suss this on out, can someone help?

Code: [Select]
Could not mark all packages for installation or upgrade

The following packages have unresolvable dependencies.
Make sure that all required repositories are added and enabled in the prefences.

Depends: vlc-plugin-mad
Depends: vlc-plugin-a52
Depends: vlc-plugin-ogg
Depends: vlc-plugin-theora
Depends: libvlccore.so.2
Depends: libvlc.so.2
Depends: libxcb-keysyms.so.0 but is not installable

Cheers!

this is the third post mentioning this

Texstar already answered that the new version will be in the new repos

2009 repos will cease to exist, 2010 will replace them soon
