I've started dinking around with VirtualBox and have installed Xp. It works and boots fine. I'm now trying to install Mepis and all goes well till asked where to install GRUB. Two choices were MBR or root. I tried installing on the MBR but after many minutes of waiting nothing happened. I had to power off the virtual machine. My question is where do I put GRUB or do I need to do something else to have Mepis or any other version of Linux run in VBOX?
