Is there a p2p video chat app?
« on: February 01, 2010, 12:53:47 PM »
I'm wondering if there are any types of 'video chat' apps which do not require a login or an account of any kind, for usage - has anyone ever heard of such?

What is the problem with having to log in? On Ekiga or Skype you only need to log in once and then set preference to auto log in on start up.

I seem to remember experimenting with Ekiga and communicating between PCs without the need for registration ......... across the LAN.
It is some time ago so I have forgotten the details  --- or if it was even Ekiga I used .. but it seems the most likely.

What about Qnext?

I haven't used it in a couple of years, but it was pretty good.
