Themes Instalation
« on: January 29, 2010, 11:37:47 PM »
Since I closed a previous thread that had this 1 unanswered question. I decided it best to just post it in its own thread.

Whats the deal with the "install" feature under some of the  "configure your desktop" options? Such as "get new theme". I noticed that unlike "get new wallpaper or get new theme" for the desktop/folder options. I cant download anything for the icons or splashes. The theme's thumbnails and descriptions will load up. But no matter how many times I click the "install" buttons. Nothing happens! I dont see anything downloading.

Anyone else experienced this?

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Im just wondering as its pretty annoying as alot of these items I'd like to install. It was a nice feature in 3.5. And, I'd love to be able to use it here in KDE4 as well.

Yes I get the same thing. I posted this problem up some time ago, but never got a response. Would recommend testing the new release when it comes out in a few weeks (fingers crossed). Hopefully it will have been fixed by then......

Like my current issue with sharing via Samba.
