[SOLVED]Taskbar Items Inoperable
« on: January 28, 2010, 10:27:31 PM »
I have started encountering this small issue each time i got my desktop up.

For some odd reason, some of the sym-links on the taskbar(Synaptic and KDE Control Center) wont open. I'll get a bouncing cursor for a bit. Then "nothing" opens.

Anyone seen this happen before?

Edit:
Looks like this even effects those very items even in the App Launcher menu

Reboot.

Yeah, I was thinking this as well.

But, my fears are if this becomes a common thing.=\

Reboot.

EDIT: A better answer would be, look at "ps -ef | grep "the process"
and see if it is already running, and then kill it.
But reboot is probably the easier thing to do.

Doing a full reboot seemed to have resolved the issue.
