samsung nc10 compatible w/09?

Two hundred bucks for a 4G wifi netbook sounds like a sweet deal, even if I have to go with a 2-Year contract. Before I commit, I want to make sure that I can wipe Win-Don'ts and that PCLOS 2009 (fully updated) will run the internal 4G wifi adapter. I'd prefer not to have to go with ndiswrapper, but if I have to, I have to.

I've never been able to get my Acer netbook webcam to record sound, neither with wxcam nor cheese. I'd like the Samsung webcam to be able to record sound, but I mainly want assurances that pcl09 will run the wifi.

PCLinuxOS has no wealthy sponsors and can only survive with your donations! Don't wait it might be too late.

Your post is from November 9th. It doesn't even address my 4G question, much less answer it.

Sorry, mine doesn't have an internal 4G wifi adaptor so I didn't notice that part. Maybe the question needs to be, what hardware is it precisely, and has anyone got similar hardware working, maybe via an external dongle.

The internal "standard" wifi is dealt with however. Maybe someone else may be able to help. Try a question specific to that part of the hardware in the networking section.

So, back to the specific question: if I get this deal on the Samsung NC10 and completely remove Win-Don'ts and replace it with PCLOS 2009.2, completely updated until the repos got frozen, will I be able to run whatever 4G-enabled internal wifi comes with it?
