Amarok xmms visualizations

It says here in Synaptic about Amarok 2.2.1

amaroK is compatible with XMMS visualization plugins. Allows you to use the
great number of stunning visualizations available on the net. 3d visualizations
with OpenGL are a great way to enhance your music experience.

That's great, but how? I have Xmms installed and some visualizations for it....searched in the settings, I've googled the thing and came out with nothing. How on earth is this suppose to work 

What am I missing?

I got those Xmms visualizations working for the old Amarok but with this one I'm lost.
Any ideas?

I was wondering the same thing.

I gather there are still some features that haven't been implemented in v2 but that were in 1.4 (including visualizations).
