SATA DVDRW, K3B and 2010beta2
« on: March 20, 2010, 02:41:23 PM »
This really does not seem to be related to beta2, but then again, if it is related, sorry for posting here.

I installed 2010beta2 a few days ago; earlier on, I had problems with beta1 CDRs I had burned. After blowing out the drive and getting a teeny little dust bunny, I decided I could no longer trust that drive. So, when beta2 was installed, K3B was set up for using that IDE ATAPI DVDRW drive. As I said, I've used beta2 for a few days, and thus with the old ATPAI burner.

Just a few minutes ago, I replaced it with a SATA DVDRW, and I need to get K3B reconfigured. I can't see how to delete the information for the ATAPI drive.

Settings - Configure K3B - Devices: when I click on the listing for the ATAPI drive, I am not given any way to delete the ATAPI drive. When I click refresh, no changes. If I click on "Modify Permissions", I see the ATAPI drive listed, but there still is no way to delete it and I really think this window is not the proper location to delete drives.

Is this K3B information configured somewhere else? Or, what should I do?
