HP P1006 detected but no print [SOLVED]

I had a network printer on a Windows computer working with this PCLinuxOS installation, but it suddenly stopped printing, although the jobs went through and I received no error messages.  I did not want to deal with the problems of a printer networked through Samba, so I bought another printer to put directly on the PCLinuxOS computer.  This is an HP P1006 Laserjet.  I hooked it up, and ran printerdrake which found and recognized the new printer on a USB port.  But when I run a print job, it does not print.  There are no error messages.

I could use help in resolving this problem, and I suspect that both printers will then work.

I installed the same printer on my system a month ago and I had exactly the same issue. I'm cooking dinner for my kids now, so you'll have to wait for the solution.

Link claims it needs a extra bit and to use hp-setup to install it, so open a terminal and type hp-setup.

Problem?  What problem?  Type HP-Setup in a terminal, follow the instructions, it works.
