<SOLVED>website link on desktop
« on: October 09, 2010, 04:49:10 PM »
Previously I was able to create a link on the desktop to go directly to my wife's favorite site in Firefox.  But that was before kde 4.  Anyone know how I can create an icon on the desktop that when clicked will open firefox and go directly to that web site?

After I posted this I (quite by accident) found the solution.  I had previously tried creating a url link but apparently the syntax was wrong because it never worked.  Now I tried again and got it right.  So now I have a nice neat icon to her favorite shopping site (QVC).  Now I won't have to hear her complain that it is so difficult to find.
