Problem understanding pcmanfm
« on: January 25, 2010, 05:40:04 PM »
I just installed LXDE on a Thinkpad and everything seems to be working very well. Only problem I have is getting my mind around that new (for me)  File Manager. Where are things like the well known directories such as mypictures, downloads, mymusic that are normally to be found in my /home/eb directory? Do I have to insert/make those myself and do they belong in the home directory for this FM? I did a lot of googeling but the tutorials are imho not too great. Any help will be appreciated.

Open PCManFM, right-click and choose Create New > Folder. Type the name you want into the field provided; type <Enter>. Your new directory has now been created.
