Amarok database [solved]

Hello world! I'd like to use a database with Amarok (I don't have too many files mp3, so also with sqlite), but I don't know avsolutely how do.
Can anyone help me?

Maybe the problem is that I d' not have mysql by Synaptic, but by Lampp?

its been a while since i last build and use amarok in kde3 but i remember the ability to use a database was not available in pclinuxos amarok build. You will have to build your own version of amarok and pass appropriate argument to configure script to enable it if you feel very strongly about having this feature.

it is a bit complicated and you will not be able to get any support on the forum if you have problems because your system will be in a state that is different from the rest of us and it will be difficult to help you when things go wrong

The database should start to make a difference if you want to manage 10,000 songs or more ..its not worth it if you are not a heavy amarok user

Thank you. In effect my database is not so big :), I don't have so many songs...
