I have a new install of pclinuxos gnome and everything works great except I can't access either one of my cd/dvd drives. I've searched the net, gnome forum and this forum for answers, so far no joy. When I insert a text disc in either drive I get the message could not mount, upon further search I get the error " there is no application installed for block device files " Hopefully someone can tell me which application or applications to install to fix this problem. Both drives worked well in pclinuxos 2009.2, but when i installed kde4.3 this old machine slowed to a crawl, so I thought I would try another os as kde4 will be our only option soon. Pclinuxos gnome runs well but I need my cd/dvd drive to work. A side note, I have kde4 on two other machines and I'm beginning to like it a little bit.
