I was able to remaster using mylivecd after all the necessary updating and installing programs.
However, after booting with mylivecd, it dropped me to a login screen, not the usual GUI screen.
I used the command " mylivecd --lzma --md5sum livecd270410.iso" as instructed by Texstar in this forum.
