Hi folks,
I decided to try to install an old Hauppauge PVR-350 in my desktop that is running the latest version of PCLinuxOS. After reading the thread below I also installed
a52dec (which is described in Synaptic as
"liba52 is a free library for decoding ATSC A/52 streams.")
http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,59482.msg478654.html#msg478654After connecting a TV antenna to the card I haven't received any over-the-air signals using either TV Time, KDETV or Kaffeine.
Is there a simple solution not involving anything complicated (to me)? I'm probably not up to the task of compiling a kernel or updating firmware!
