How to change file manager in MiniMe 2009?
« on: January 14, 2010, 07:23:27 AM »
Hello friends,

I want to change the default file manger for PCLOS MiniMe 2009.1. I want to install and use konqueror or dolphin as the default file manager. How do I do that? Please give me suggestions for doing this.

Thanks in advance.

Konqueror is already the default file manager in MiniMe.

tantrik,

then way to select either Konqueror or Dolphin is to open KCC (System Settings), go to Personal => Default Applications and select File Manager. Click the one you want and apply.

This assumes that the desktop has been changed to KDE4, rather than the default KDE3, which has not been indicated in the original post.
