New problem, Firefox not starting from link in, and mailto: not starting, Thunderbird.....
after update.
Already found the solution ;)
in Firefox, advanced properties, be sure standard browser at startup is selected.
in Thunderbird, in properties, check if it's the standard mailer at startup.

Thanks Baas - I was trying to work this one out myself earlier this morning!

Could someone please dumb this down for me?  I'm finding advanced settings, but not advanced properties for Firefox.  If it is the same thing, I'm still not finding "standard browser at startup".  Same with Thunderbird, I'm not seeing properties, but I am seeing preferences.  Assuming they refer to the same thing, I'm not seeing "standard mailer at startup".

Sorry if this is a dumb question!  I'm running PCLOS 2010 with Thunderbird 3.0.4 and Firefox 3.6.3.

Thanks!

Dumb questions ? define.... ;)

Firefox > Edit > Preferences > Advanced > General under "System Defaults" check "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup".

In Thunderbird the same under "System Integration".
You are welcome ;)
