First of all, welcome to PCLinuxOS, bornin39! I'm sure we'll get your problem sorted out, so stick around and just wait and see what great, friendly people are here.
Usually I'd say, "Please ask your question in the appropriate section", but I'll try to help out right away.
You mentioned you're new, but I'm thinking you've been running PCLOS for some time now, am I correct?
If true, then maybe you can test this by closing down Firefox, starting up your file manager (Konqueror or Dolphin in KDE) and activating "View Hidden Files". Then you'll see in your home directory the folder
.mozilla.
Just as a test - rename it (right-click and select "Rename") to something else, like
.mozilla.orig and start Firefox. You'll have the default settings now. Check out the Dodgers site and see if it works.
If it does work and it's not too much of a hassle, you could customize Firefox to be just as before. You can import your bookmarks from the renamed folder and do the other adjustments and should have a fresh environment for Firefox.
If, on the other hand, it does crash again, I think some other experts will have to chime in. Close Firefox, delete the newly created foldr
.mozilla and rename your original folder (
.mozilla.orig?) back to
.mozilla so you have your original setup.
Otherwise - stick around and have fun!
