Makehuman for PCLinuxos
« on: January 08, 2010, 07:42:16 PM »
Finally I have Makehuman working great on PCLinux.  Not in wine, in linux.   Here's how I did it.

It's very important to install in the order I post below otherwise you'll get errors.

First I downloaded the following to my desktop.   makehuman-0.9.1-2mapi2008.1.i586.rpm  ,   animorph-0.3-2mapi2008.1.i586.rpm   ,   mhgui-0.2-2mapi2008.1.i586.rpm   ,   these are all Mandriva rpms.

Install animorph first using kpackage  then mhgui using kpackage   then in terminal  "apt-get install aqsis"  without the quotes.   Finally install makehuman using kpackage.

That's all there is to it.  to start search menu it should be listed under graphics.   Let me know if you have problems.  I'm curious to see if this would work on any deb. or rpm based distro.

Everything loaded OK, no problems, (this is a rubbish box), but so far it looks good, Thanks .
