what driver are you using for your video card?
also, imwheel gave me problems so i uninstalled(crashed, ate cpu and made the wheel in my mouse not to respond), it is only required if you have a specific mouse that uses more features that a usual mouse

imwheel doesn't do much except i lost the functionality of the wheel which i I am thinking is the moment to replace my pointing device.

i had a similar post previously and the issue fixed itself. i just hope it's has nothing to do with the test kernel i am using.
