I have in mind that maybe the KDE location is now unused - was KDE3.5 - and KDE4 is named KDE4 ........ maybe KDE is being searched and not KDE4 ....... so maybe creating KDE as a link to KDE4 would fix things ........

I had to use travis method to fix kde-config not found error with this:

[andrzejl@WISHMACER ~]$ su -c "ln -s /usr/bin/kde4-config /usr/bin/kde-config"

so I believe that You may be right...

I am appealing for help from anyone with a little time ......

I need to get this package running on PCLOS 2010.1 KDE .......

I have only been able to find a package which runs on KDE3 but has difficulties in KDE4.

Can I ask for more eyes to search for a KDE4 compatible install of this on any distro that does not also have KDE3?

The only successful use of it in KDE4 from what I have been able to find is in installs that also had KDE3 libs etc etc.

Please do what you can, thanks.   ;)
