I Am Using VMware Workstation 7.0.0 And Need Help In...

I Have VMware Workstation 7.0.0 And Need Help Installing PCLinuxOS 2009 when i :
1) Create New Virtual Machine.
2) I use Typical Setting Which is Recommended.
3) I use "pclinuxos-2009.2.iso" Which I Downloaded From The Official Site Of PCLinuxOS.
4) It Doesn't Detect Which Operating System is this And Ask For The Operating System.
5) It Have Six Radio Button With Diffrent Operating System I Selected Linux.
6) But After That There is no PCLinuxOS.....Which Should I Select As My Guest Operating System Please Help.
7) And Also Tell Me Why The PCLinuxOS Is Not There And Which One I Select???

how you know this is linux kernel 2.6.x and can you tell me what is kernel i am new to this type of operating systems and linux too i am basically windows user but now sick of windows and try to use linux and how to run applications on linux?
