LiveCd not booting
« on: January 03, 2010, 12:19:01 PM »
Currently I'm still using PCFluxboxOS from iainrj.
Unfortunately it seems that it won't be supported any longer.

So I decided to test the newer version of " KDE MiniMe Desktop V 2009.2 ".
First I was wondering why it is not available anymore for downloading on this side. But I have got it from another side and have detected this booting problem also on my computer. I ran the Live-Cd from a SATA-DVD-Drive.

In " LXDE Desktop V 2009.4 " I have the possibility to run with the SATA probe option and it works fine. However it was not possible to start " Live-USB " from the menu for any reason.

So I'm looking now for an update of " KDE MiniMe Desktop " with full support for Live-USB. I don't care about the possibilty to write back anything. No persistent drive or whatever is needed. I will remaster the "Cd" for my own wishes with web-browsers and run it from a write-proteced usb-pen or a write-protected sd-card.

Any estimation till when there will be an update available ?
Looking forward to your update.
Thank you very much in advance.
