Pruning the forum database.
I'm talking about a notebook.It doesn't happen with Vista (dual boot), so that eliminates hardware/heat.I think I will try some other distributions to see if it is repeatable.
I'm certainly no specialist here, but I remember fixing this issue on my laptop by switching from dhclient to dhcpcd. You can do this from PCC. Something like "Network/internet>>Network center>>>Wireless>>Configure>>Advanced>>DHCP client"Worth a try.
