Thanks tweaker. Your fix is the simplest answer to this problem. I had FF as my default browser but something changed it. Perhaps bleachbit or some update (soooo many these days!) removed the link.
Firefox changes it every time a new version comes along in the packages. Rick2210 just updated his and I have done the same with the same result, FF is not the default browser.
A quick change in the FF preferences and it works again
