Everything that comes up when I search for libpython in synaptic is installed and I am still getting the same problem.  I still need to resolve those two issues.

PYTHON_INCLUDE_PATH (ADVANCED)    is this just a path?? Do I need to go tell my pclos installation that python exists and give it the directory?  I thought it already knew where that was?

PYTHON_LIBRARY (ADVANCED)

those errors say you need python development package ..the package i asked you to install seem to be the appropriate python package ..if you have installed it and it still complains ..then try installing another package with a word "python" and "devel" in it ..install all of them if you have to  ..if the one i gave isnt the one, i dont know which one is ..

this is what i am getting concerning python

-- Check for working CXX compiler: /usr/bin/c++
-- Check for working CXX compiler: /usr/bin/c++ -- works
-- Detecting CXX compiler ABI info
-- Detecting CXX compiler ABI info - done
-- Found PythonLibs: /usr/lib/python2.5/config/libpython2.5.so
-- Found PythonInterp: /usr/bin/python2.5

So does this mean it works for you?

If so please respond stating so and thank you!  I will get it working if I have to install everyone of them if I know it works for someone!!

Thank you!!

it works for me ..i dont see why it doesnt for you ...are you sure you have package called "libpython2.5-devel" installed?

open the terminal, type "su" and then enter your root's password and then type the following commands(copy and paste them)

apt-get update
apt-get install libpython2.5-devel

try again after you have install that package if you havent
