Nvidia 190.xxx and KDE4

Hi,

Hope I'm not intruding here as this post could easily go in the KDE4 or Hardware sections but it's about the nvidia driver 190.xxx in Testing.

I have a GeForce 210 card, which isn't listed for any drivers. Using KDE3, the 180.xxx wouldn't work but the 190.xxx in Testing does . It doesn't work, however, on the same machine with KDE4 in VirtualBox .

Is this a KDE4 problem, driver problem or VirtualBox problem?

Can't upgrade to KDE4 if it doesn't like my hardware...

VirtualBox uses it's own virtual graphics card, so there's no need or use for the nvidia driver there. It's not a bug anywhere, just your misconception of how VirtualBox works.
