KDE 4.3 runs fine on my desktop and laptop but I was having problems with it locking up on my samsung n510 netbook.
yesterday I installed the nvidia 190.xx driver from the testing repo and now all is well. No lockups, full compositing... every thing works smooth as silk.
Not really advanced stuff I know but as It is still in testing I thought I would post it here in case it helps somebody else.
