1. Make sure you have a fully updated system
2. Launch the Synaptic Package Manager
3. Click on Search
4. Type in task-lxde
5. Right Click and mark to install (This will pull in everything you need)
6. Click Apply.
7. Log out of KDE
8. Click on Session
9. Select LXDE
10. Login to LXDE.
