ok when i type in the same exact commands as indictated on your response and the direction it said file or directory not found

and what i meant i saved the app in three different locations /home and / root desktop

OK  Im gonna reread everything now cause the installer works and i have successfully installed the new driver

It just like when you first install a new nvidia driver it just works there is no flickering when i drag stuff around the desktop also it gives more choices on my display.

Hey, a typo is no reason to beat yourself up. You successfully, manually installed a proprietary video driver. A feat that many users shy away from. I hope that things keep looking up for you from now on.

Thanks again i know but its so much a pain the rear cause as i said earlier about putting out a bunch of fires. My next one is kinda answered in this thread however still need clarification
