There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

I gave my family the gift of  "ME" and stayed away from the computer for a day. It was probably one of those gifts that they found quite useless and would return if they could.  ;D
What kind of gift was that?

Time for New Year resolutions? Me first ... I'll try and be good in the coming year and maybe next Christmas, I'll get one of those kitties in a box that Tex keeps sending away.

A New Year's Resolution should be fitting
And one that takes much thought
It should be a challenge to follow
But shouldn't leave you in any way fraught

Your declaration should be a promise
Meaning giving your solemn oath
To fullfill it for a month or a year
Well maybe you can keep it for both

I'm resolving to post in the forum
Each and everyday next year
No more weeks of fretting about ms_meme
She's getting herself in high gear

Now for some of you posting is easy
You just click in a silly smiley face
With greasy bacony fingers
Leaving the Sandbox in a state of disgrace

If you have a New Year's Resolution
And are brave enough it to declare
Post it here in ms_meme's Neighborhood
Or just post it any old where

I resolve to write everyday a nice friendly complimentary post to a forum member.  But to make it a bit harder, I will restrict my nice friendly complimentary posts to members that I have never ever responded to. There are new members joining the forum everyday. And I am always seeing members who have 1000 or more posts that I have never heard of before.

Next year is Leap Year so that makes 366 posts and hopefully 366 new friends.  :D

Now what about my old friends?  Are they not deserving to have a post from me once in a while?  Of course they are.  :)  But they won't be getting the nice friendly complimentary posts.  They will just get the same old barbed, biting and nipping ones they are used too.  ;D

I like your resolution, ms_meme. We should get someone to grade our attendance for at least half a year .... where's joechimp?  ;D

I'm doing a 180 on my previously stated resolution. I figured one fumble and I'm not gonna get any kitties by the end of the year so why bother? I'm just gonna be the same as I was last year.  ;)

A wife told her husband to whisper dirty things into her ear.

The man then replied, "The kitchen, the living room,
the bathroom, and the dining room."

Then there was a fight!

"New Years Resolutions".

When I think about this, I always think about one of two things.

a: Things I want to do less of.

Or

b: Things I want to do more of.

It gets one started thinking. Am I doing bad things because I want to do them? Am I not doing good things because I don't want to do them?

Neither really turns out to be the case.

We do the things we don't like because we feel some external need to do them and we don't do the things we like because of the same reasons.

A New years resolution should be to stop letting external forces influence our behavior.

"Stop doing the things I don't like and do more of the things I like."

That's my New Years Resolution.

Me:
a: Things I'd like to be able still keeping doing.

b: :-\

c: ???

Since the list a) keeps getting shorter and shorter I don't have to worry about Rudge's b) and c)...
