Sounds quite logical to me.  ;)

Me too, except the bit about the penguin soaring. How would that work?   ;D

Quote
'That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.'
Christopher Hitchens

Oh nok of little faith how can you be so blind
ms_meme knows what she talketh and how a penguin's been designed

I don't mean to be cold hearted and certainly not unkind
But you don't have much up there in the thing you call your mind

My thanks go to a chimp the evidence he did find
What a noble creature and oh so refined

So Tex and Tux together their effort was combined
They go soaring through the net helping all mankind

How could I not know that penguins could fly?
A life's education, gone awry.
In nature are wonders,
fantastic but true.
But flying penguins?
I don't believe you.
“Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.”
 ― Isaac Asimov

Did the poem/song about the feats of Texstar ever mention anything about penguins flying?
I think not.  >:(  Some of you are jumping to conclusions.

Penguins waddle.  Can any of you picture Texstar waddling?   :o
Penguins flap.  Can any of you imagine Texstar flapping?   ::)

I wouldn't even think of it.  ;)

If you had stopped and looked up the meaning of soar in your handy OED, you might have found the definitions for soar.

Quote
to rise or aspire to a higher or more exalted level
to ascend to a higher plane of thinking
to travel up and beyond the common place of ideas
to climb in thought where no ordinary brain has gone
to reach heights of thought over and above the normal

All of which Texstar did, does and will do.  :)

And that is why he made an OS and none of you others did.  ;D

ms_meme's Neighborhood

I want to tell you all the story about ms_meme and her Neighborhood
Well she lives in the Forum a making sure everyone is bein' good
She came home one night early 'cause you know she is straight lace
And found a note from the mods saying you better clean up your place

Crow's a acting like a zombie and givin' everyone the shaking fits
And Rudge is cooking panko bread crumbs like they were some Southern grits
AndrzejL's on that roller coaster always trying the others to impress
If you wanna stay in your Neighborhood you better clean up that mess

just18 is going around and telling everyone they have no brain
smileeb is hanging out with naked scientists and doing it in the rain
Wildman is goin' a snooping into everybody else's email
If you want to stay in the Neighborhood you better clean up that detail

I had never heard of Quidditch until I googled it.  I love to read but never could get into Harry Potter.

I just amble through the Sandbox with a basket and Keep trying to pick up anything that I think might be of interest to anyone and sort of rearrange it here.  ;D

I think I rather missed the ball on some of my last efforts.  I think they went right by everybody.
Going to get me a new basket.

I did like that site. There was info about how older people should keep moving to help prevent Alzheimer's.  I would imagine crawling up and over fences would be a good activity for me.  But probably die of shock at what I might see.  ;D
