Agust, after downloading the .edj, how would I apply it to my current theme? I've tried simple file substitutions, and that doesn't work. Do I import my current theme into the editor and then change the clock module?

Ohh! not explained, I am sorry djohnston.

Download edj.
To install simply , Open thunar or PCman , view hidden files , locate folder .e > e > themes , copy and paste the downloaded file.
Now , Main Menu > Settings > Theme , Tab advanced , look here:


If you then want to change the original configuration of the theme only have to use the cleaning tab  ;).

New theme  "Mare Nostrum":
This theme is based on the theme Cthulhain and Nyz.
Credits for the authors of these themes.

I also love Mare Nostrum. Vision is good but it looks to me like the Longhorn was making cabernet. ;)

After your comment I looked at the theme and I do not like , but has given me another idea for this theme, I will do what is in red wine, that seems transparent.
Keep the wallpaper so that there is more contrast with the light cream color. ;D
Thanks to your comment I think the theme will be more beautiful. ;)

Edit:
Definitely done with red wine, because the Gtk theme does not look right without the red wine in the e17.
Applications Gtk in e17Theme "Vision".
