If you do not like the behavior of the icon, let me know and I'll post the details on how to change it.  ;)

No objection your Honor. Everything is fine.
Ah, my results!  ;D ::)

Hi Guy's
I am down in OZ and the figures given me by the speed program are not helpful at all.
My 2 local repros give me between 200,000 to 800,000 whereas your reported speeds which do not ,apparently, consider  my local repros, were about 3000
As I said, not much help at all.
Just my thoughts (2cents)

Since a couple of weeks ago I get strange readings from repo-test (it -could- be my system that is FUBAR'ed somewhat :-) but it used to work fine,

cheers,
MBantz

MBantz, when was this screenshot taken? ftp.cc.uoc.gr no longer mirrors pclinuxos. Add http://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/linux/pclinuxos/apt/ instead which will be included in the 2010 release.

Also, I believe this script is programmed only to check mirrors that have been updated in the past few days.

Hi MadCat,

it was taken today, using only defaults,

it would be fine to see what's wrong, but remember, my system is certainly not 'forum-supportable' at this point :-)

cheers,
MBantz

EDIT: attached my current /etc/apt/sources.list

...this is correct; there is a command line option to override the default behavior.  More info here:
