Mousepad -- Find only works once...
« on: October 22, 2009, 04:06:11 AM »
I have a strange glitch in Mousepad now for a couple of weeks and it won't disappear. Every time I open a text file I can use search and find -- once. After that I can enter text in the find box, but the "Find" button is greyed out and cannot be pressed. F3 also only works for the first entered search.

Mousepad worked fine for me and I like the fast and no-frills approach. Any ideas what is wrong with this application now?

slowbleed,

I have also wondered about this weird behavior with Mousepad, especially since Mousepad is the default text editor in Phoenix 2009.4, which I run on one of my laptops.

I have to restart Mousepad in order to get Find to work again. The unfortunate side effect is that it severely slows down my work flow, to have to shut down Mousepad, restart it, then reload the document I was working on.
