Having a look at mkrepo2 this morning. :D Have you had a look at the metapackage a-task-packager-minimal?

Also,  it might be a good idea to combine the pkgutils, pkgutils-kde & pkgutils-thunar into one spec / SRPM to save tex a few clicks..  does anyone have a copy of the SRPM for thunar that I can work from??

I have created the kde4 and thunar additions in one spec - it's in dropbox at the moment

The packages were combined in the spec I used.
