I'm sorry you think I'm taking a tone, I'm just trying to point out you have more choices than those a program presents to you. You seemed to be suggesting the problem happened because you didn't have the right options.
In fact, I've just read your other thread and if you pulled the power instead of clicking the buttons, then formatting won't have happened. Some disc corruption might have occurred and I would normally suggest running fsck (from the livecd with the partitions unmounted), but I don't know enough about RAID to know whether that's the right tool. I don't know what the discs were doing when you rebooted but it shouldn't have been formatting. I think it's too early to assume you've lost your data, especially as you had a copy on each disc, and only one disc was being written from the other one. It's more likely the system was rewriting files which had become inaccessible because of the corruption caused by pulling the plug than anything else.
So don't panic. Your data is probably still there. You just need a RAID expert to tell you how to access it.
I have already told you how to find out who to contact to request a third button. It is up to the author to decide whether that would help or not, so what I or anyone else think doesn't matter.
