I added Don Crissti's perl script called dupeclean to the repo. If a user have multiple repos checked or for some reason the rpm database gets duplicated entries for installed packages they can run dupeclean in the konsole as root and it will clear out the duplicated entries. What would be even better is to have a zenity graphical interface for it so it could be ran from the Utilities folder or from the menu. Hopefully this will go away when we update apt, synaptic and rpm packages.
