modules.description and how do I get one?
« on: October 16, 2009, 04:33:41 PM »
I notice the 2.6.26.8.tex3 I installed from the repo has a /lib/modules/<kernel-version>/modules.description file but my self-built kernels do not. Mklivecd complains it is missing and this might well be why my initrd images lack modules.

How do I generate this file when building a kernel?
