Thunderbird [Solved]

Only a minor point but I couldn't locate Thunderbird mail on the live cd or in Synaptic,does it or should it exist, as the website seems to suggest it should?

A search should find it for you in every imaginable language. Otherwise, look under "m" -- for "mozilla-thunderbird".

when you went into synaptic ... did you refresh your synaptic to update the list of applications???

Must say no I didn't  because I wasn't intending to install at that point.I'll have another look though.
Did do a search under Mozilla Thunderbird.

Sorry people,I did a refresh in Synaptic and sure enough there it is.
