??? ??? What are you talking about?  ???

Getting a bit over your head is good for you. It makes you look at what you're doing with greater scrutiny, and you're more apt to dig deeper to find a solution. It is a mind expanding experience. You should give it a try. ;) ;) ;D

hehe, if you want to play, I would happy to help you.  Read the stickies, and when you feel you have a clue, I'll remind you, that I fail, more than I succeed, but I continue to try.

Jump in!  The waters fine!

There are a lot of packagers, and we all help each other, if we can.  (More often than not, they are already over my head too.)

Why don't you make a remaster?  It must be easy, I mean, look, Neal did it.   ;D  (seriously, if I even understood the directions, I would have tried)

In order of importance, in my opinion:

Just click on Packagers, and look at the pinned (stickied) posts, there are a lot of them, and for good reason.

Watch out for parnote, he will try to steal you away from packaging to write articles for the magazine.  Many of my good friends have fallen prey to his tempting offer.

Virtual Box?  I use Live-USB.  But, you know I like ya, I will assist in any way I can.  (Live-USB ROCKS!)

I will help you all I can, but I gotta get some sleep now.  Gotta work in the morning, and I'm so happy, I probably won't get much sleep anyway.

Neal: It's on your FTP site.  I don't expect you need a link.  You might need libgnomeui, liblua, and libtheora to make it work.  I sent the .spec, but if you want the .src.rpm I will send it too.

Yes, please upload the srpm. The rpm isn't installing correctly. I'm getting an unpacking to /usr/bin error.

Done, but try to install it again, I re-uploaded the .rpm cause I noticed it was way to small, must not have uploaded completely last night.

EDIT:

It works in KDE4, but I didn't get a menu entry for it.

Ah! That's better! It installed fine this time. A menu entry was created and celestia launches from it without a hitch. I ran the demo, which worked well. :D For LXDE, I'd say this is a "go." ;D Thanks, Joble.
